At any rate, we don’t have any word as to if the game will make its way onto the Nintendo Switch. Only time will tell if this game will retain the same horror and appeal as the first title delivered to gamers originally.
LAYERS OF FEAR 2 JUMP SCARES PC

Set to take on a new role, players will board a ship only for the horrifying journey to settle back in.Īs mentioned, the game finally has a release date attached. LAYERS OF FEAR 2 JUMP SCARES FULL
As you attempt to create your latest artwork, you explore a mansion full of twisted paintings, scares and puzzles. If you recall Layers of Fear, this was a terrifying game full of jump scares where players take on the role of a disturbed painter. In my opinion Layers is far away from a 'Youtube'-horror game and I don't think PweDiePie would understand this game. This games plays more with your mind and makes you uncomfortable and lets you question your sanity.

Best of all, it’s available on most platforms, but it looks like the Nintendo Switch may not get a port or if it does, this may be a game put out at a later date. Yes it has some jump scares, but it is far away from a jump scare simulator. However, until today, we didn’t know just when the sequel would drop, but now we get the official word that Layers of Fear 2 is launching in the coming month. And while it might feel a tab bit familiar at times, it’s still a fun and spooky ride worth taking in. I realize this is probably a tough thing as most horror games include this kind of stuff, but I'd really appreciate some recommendations.Layers of Fear was a successful horror title when it launched back in 2016 and now Bloober Team is preparing for the upcoming sequel. Layers of Fear 2 expands on nearly everything that made the original game a horror hit. I can usually take a sound that happens somewhere else in the world, but I hate when they thrust it right in your damn face. Specifically I hate jumpscares that fill up the whole screen. I did not get the chance to play the original Layers of Fear in 2016 so I played the sequel with a fresh perspective. If you love jump scares and freaky things, then this game is right up your alley. NO deliberate jump scares, unless its limited to like one or two in the entire game. Layers of Fear 2 is a sequel to the first person horror adventure game from developer Bloober Team.

I wont turn away PC as long as its not a high spec required game(I have a newer Dell laptop and dont have a dedicated gaming PC). Preferably on PS4, so I can stream through shareplay with my friend(we sometimes like to watch eachother play games like this). So basically I'm looking for recommendations: Eternal Darkness was pretty good here too, except for the bathtub scene. I remember the Silent Hill games didn't really rely on this either and was more psychological horror and made you THINK something was gonna pop out but never really did. Creeps you out the entire game but doesn't really have anything thats a true jump scare, mostly just sound effects here and there. I loved Gone Home as it fits this perfectly. With that said, I'm trying to find some games that are horror based and dont rely on this cheap tactic to make the game scary. I hate that so many movies and games do this to make it scary. But one thing I cannot stand is cheap jump scares/loud noises/scary images that suddenly appear on the screen and shit just to make you scared. Hey Era, I love horror stuff and love being creeped out and getting into that scary atmosphere.
